I’m sure these people all suck. But I am not super comfortable with the seeming excitement that a famous blonde lady has fallen out of the magical circle that would otherwise prevent woke people from getting all personal at her on the internet.

I do not approve of her fooling people in to taking fake blood tests and the danger and suffering that can lead to. HOWEVER! I do not feel at all bad for all the Murdochs, DeVoses etc who invested in Theranos…

Theranos expended huge amounts of resources and effort trying to prevent their trade secrets from escaping into the wild. They claimed they could perform over a hundred different forms of blood assay & analysis on a couple drops of blood. As it turns out, their actual trade secret was that they were committing hundreds of acts of fraud.
