Taken yesterday from Duluth’s Park Point beach. As they melt, the ice chunks roll like an iceberg does. Combine the ice and slush with some wave action and the yield is a beautiful sound.
I take this single weather event as definitive proof that climate change global warming isn’t real!
I lived in Duluth 25 years ago, and I remember getting stuck “up the mall” by a blizzard in May, so to me this seems like a warming trend. I guess you can either be a “lake half-frozen” or a “lake half-thawed” kind of guy.
