The Silicone plugs are the only way to go for my small sensitive canals. Wish I discovered them earlier because I spent many nights with irritated ears; after a few days the foam ones feel like sandpaper going in and out as they scrape the skin.

I prefer the Walgreens house brand over Macks though; they seem to stay sticky longer for a better seal. Seems like Macks stopped research and development a while ago when they had a virtual monopoly.

Btw no need to try rolling them into cones to get deep into the canal like foam ones. When I started following the directions and just pressing them into the outer pinna I realized they fit better and more comfortably.
