You’re absolutely right! I had the very great pleasure to meet Sir Terry at a number of book signing sessions, and he really was a lovely, lovely man, and he’s missed so much; under the circumstances that we’re in now, Sir Terry, even if he couldn’t make much sense of the fuckwittery, he could at least have made us laugh about it!

I sadly never got the pleasure… I’m very glad we have his works, of course. They are brilliant works of deep philosophy, IMHO.
He’d have made a good attempt to do so, I think. Both I mean, to help us understand and to make us laugh.

That perfect breathing system has to service the thinky-thinky-bits system and for some reason, methinks that part is not as “God’s perfect.”
I can’t tell if we are headed toward a cultural chasm between people with less impoverished minds/vocabulary and people who need Up Goer Five to communicate…

Grew up in Palm Beach County. The existence of these “mask bigots” is not surprising. They will continue to deny facts until climate change raises the sea level, swallows the state, and makes the area safe for manatees once again. Perhaps COVID will make the area safe for the FL panther. New state motto: The Sunset State!
