Think of the Karens

“Can’t worry bout what other {…} people think; that’s LIBERATION and baby, I want it…”

Seriously, there are bigger concerns in the world to worry about.

Maybe? Hmmmm…

Not sure I’m seeing it?

Wouldn’t be the first time assholes appropriated hairstyles, though, if so.

Is this the same hairstyle as “The Cut”?

Hence “inverted” haircut… though I meant “Sue Catwoman,” which i guess, inverted, is “Catwoman Sue.” Well anyway, the lower hairstyle was definitely worn by the punk/new wave crowd (where I was) in the late 80s.

(It occurs to me there could be substantial overlap between those wearing it then and those wearing it now)

Sure.

Maybe.

But more importantly, Soo Catwoman has a website…

I agree with you. It’s an unnecessary, mean-spirited shorthand for something ugly in the world. And people who use the name this way are pretty glib about the collateral damage.

Have you tried not being a Karen?
Maybe change your hairstyle or smile more?

What collateral damage? Did someone call the cops on a woman named Karen just for existing?

I’m tired of people associating me with industrious workers just because of my name!

Really? I’m probably just missing your sarcasm tags (which are mandatory on the internet these days you know) because I’d hate to think that you actually mean this comment.
