This Craigslist seller has zero-tolerance for chiselers

We all know what it’s like to deal with flakey buyers and having similar annoyance, that’s not extreme.

We’ve also found through our time that no matter how many statements you make, flakes are going to flake. Reading screeds puts me off as a buyer even though I have zero intention of doing the things they’re complaining about.

Would also probably help if he wasn’t legitimately asking full price for used stools :stuck_out_tongue:

this is amazing.

This is your example of a good buying experience?

If so, it’s a prime example of the fundamental disagreements in this thread. What you went through to get a car - for you, a work necessity - is what I would consider an absolute nightmare.

Nope. Never said it was a good experience. I said it was effective.

What I’m saying is at no point is lying, dishonestly or deception necessary. And none of those things are likely to get you anywhere.

People weren’t getting it so I gave a step by step.

The experience at the first dealership was pleasant, because they were approaching it the way I did. Had they had a car, or I wasn’t on a tight timeline, I would have bought from them. They’ve done all the dealer service on the car, and I’ve bought parts from them. They’re always pretty easy to deal with.

I have never gone back to the dealership I bought from. And never would.

This is absolutely a stupid as shit way to sell cars too.
