In addition to accruing the miles themselves, that much flying will at some point earn elite status in the carrier’s frequent flyer program, which often includes free domestic upgrades when there’s space available in the premium cabin.

So long as none of them are run by Barclays Bank of NA. Most unpleasant credit card management experience I’ve ever had – including the 40K US Airways miles I got out of the deal.
