The Texas energy “regulatory” body, ERCOT, has issued energy conservation appeals most days of the last week. And now we are in alert lvl 2
The state had a huge surplus this year and yet every bill to fix our broken energy grid died in the legislature.

I was terribly disappointed on a visit to Manhattan (~42nd) a while back because I saw no rats. I even kicked a few garbage bags in the evening, nothing. Not even a scurrying sound. 
So now I have something to do next visit…
