This seems to be a move of a lot of other privileged groups as well. Any criticism is interpreted as “oppression” when you’re used to always getting your way. Hence the growth of “men’s rights” groups, straight pride parades, labour disputes claiming “reverse racism” and so on. Claiming victimhood feels like an easy path back to righteous sympathy, and they don’t see how disingenuous it is.

The chefs-kiss would have been if, after starting the fight with three of them in camera, he slowly-slowly backed up, with the fight now fully enjoined between the two religious nuts only.
These people are not preaching love. They are preaching hate, division, sectarianism. And they are obnoxiously megaphoned. They deserve much more abuse than this particular content-seeking tiktoker.

Religion is too deeply embedded in the fabric of society to be totally extinguished.
It may die down periodically, but it will always come roaring back in times when desperate/ignorant/indoctrinated people need easy answers to the tough questions.

The real problem isn’t religion per se but more broadly, ANY ideology that claims to be the only source of moral authority. Communism, fascism, racism, and many other ideologies have been used to justify atrocities. It may not be inevitable that an ideology will justify atrocity, but it can. And there are a large number of people that would rather be driven to atrocity than to self-reflection.
