What catsidhe said, and also ALL RGB colors will look different on your monitor than they do in your hand It is using light to create colors vs pigments. You can calibrate some monitors to get close - but it never will be 100%. So yes, you might get something in hand can go, “Huh, this is pinker, or redder or much brighter than I thought it would be.”

Some CMYK colors and Pantone colors can’t even be shown accurately because they are florescent colors or metallic You get an approximation to fill in for it.
