I reverse packing tape and the sticky picks up my German Shorthaired Pointers very fine hair instantaneously. Give it a go…

I have one of these. My dog had a moderately stiff straight outer coat that imbedded into the upholstery, and this thingy didn’t do much to get it out. I had better luck with the packing tape method.
It does work pretty well on soft fluffy cat hair.

That was my ‘lint brush’ in my starving student days. Worked like a snap!

I use dishwashing gloves. You put one on, rub it over the fabric & the cat hair rolls up into a little ball that can be easily pulled off.
