This appears to be an episode of Lamb Chop’s Play-Along, a wholesome kids’ show from the early '90s featuring Shari Lewis and her puppet companions.

That’s what I thought too. When our kids were tots the show ran following Sesame Street on the local PBS outlet.Though overall the show would qualify as “wholesome,” I was always uncomfortable with the way Lewis and her characters were snarky and often belittled each other. I preferred the Sesame Street model of personal interaction.

It’s definitely Lamp Chop, I had to watch that show endlessly when my kid was young. Funny thing is, at 7 and 8 that show interested her, nowadays I doubt a seven year old would sit through it. Maybe, but not enough explosions or potty humor. Here’s 10 hours of the song that never ends. Play it while watching The Never Ending Story.
