That happened to me frequently enough that I now shovel the top front of the garage before the driveway. At least it is usually loose snow and an easy lift.

If I lived anywhere that experienced that kind of snowfall, even once every few years, I would have a snowblower. Or an arrangement with a plow-owning neighbor (it’s Wyoming, plenty of plow-capable trucks up there). To hell with shoveling that much snow.
