unclear on “unbeatable”: kitty is at one point almost there with separation of tasks: paw to raise fuzzy bait, and jaws to capture them; just a matter of time. (presuming boredom doesn’t conquer all)

Very cute! But definitely in the realm of toys for other cats. My big lads and lass could paw the lever and not even have to stretch to get their teeth on the mouse. Or cooperate. Then they’d undoubtedly rip the mice out

Me too but there was no link to buy one.

I googled cat whack a mole and found some on Amazon and Etsy.

I also found an easy DIY. I’ll need something to do in the garage pretty soon, this might be it.

Bought one for our newest hyper feline overlord. She doesn’t even look at it. She is creative in her play activities by making things more complicated. Like playing under the dining table and chairs because she loves to weave through them at full speed chasing a ping pong ball. Maybe a parkour backflip or two while racing at full speed chasing a ping pong ball. Maybe flipping some catnip toys around. And “Kill that effin’ flopping fish! I hate it so effin’ much!” The mouse thingy is boring to her. Not enough fast action.

our cats are all lazy sods (what is it they say about pet owners resembling their pets?).
the oldest will get up to a zoomie from time to time, but she doesn’t have any attention span, whatsoever. she would give up on this toy just as quickly as the ball-in-the-circular-race thingy that was supposed to “entertain your cat for hours”.
yeah, right.

Both of our cats are prey-driven, so fast-moving stuff is key (laser dot, teaser-under-circle-skirt machine). The youngest is also a student of geometry, in that she’s a marvel at calculating the angles needed to clamber upon every possible surface.

Today’s skill: pulling herself under the desk on her side, slithering up the back of the drawer, and clambering inside. Rustling from the drawer tipped us off, and surprise - kitty inside!

Our youngest is like that! He loves to play what I’d swear is high-speed the-floor-is-lava under the dining room table. He doesn’t care a whole lot for ping pong balls but the sound the mini-wiffle balls make is very attractive. I bought them because he kept hunting out my kid’s polished minerals and batting those around on the tile. The mini-wiffle seems to satisfy his desire for the skittering sound.

Don’t you love that stare from above?!

Evie’s relaxed disregard for gravity gives us constant anxiety (here she’s about 12’ above…anything on the right).

Caught my eye because the tuxy photo could be our Buster. He passed away April of 2020, but I swear, he would approve of this game very, very highly.

Also: here is AMAZON link for the toy if someone wants to purchase.

NOTE: there are two colors of prey. A or B. Love the disclaimer.

Nice, but my cat would be up to his armpits in the box, ripping out the mousies.
