My guess would be that the machine is owned and operated by a third party and the establishment doesn’t have the key. Caveat: read summary, didn’t watch video

I watched the video, and it said nothing about the owner/operators of the machine either. I can only assume that they were contacted, and either said “yeah, break the machine and get the kid out” or “please leave a message at the beep.” /cynical
