While I watch individual TikToks when they’re recommended to me on sites like this, I don’t have the app installed or follow/scroll through them. The automated narrative voices that are on a lot of the videos make the platform seem particularly insipid. TikTok also seems to be a vehicle for distributing some really bad and frequently dangerous advice.
