I’m sure Bannon promised him and the other saps that von Clownstick would pardon them too. They’re grifters but they’re also suckers.

If you’re gonna live in your alternate MAGA-reality, then you’re gonna get suckered.

“Buying a brick” in a wall that can’t really be built because it crosses private land, crosses flood plains or other natural barriers, and is in violation of agreements with Mexico, means you’re putting money in a grifter’s pocket.
