I read the Earthsea stuff at school but only read “Left Hand…” last year. No idea why it took so long for me to get to it - it’s a good read and it makes you think further.

Drug companies must look at trans people the way a old time prospector looked at gold in their pan. Parents of trans kids probably can only access these treatments if they are wealthy or have very good health coverage, so the drug company just digs in that mine.

Suspended 5 months and a year? Seriously? How about assault and battery with severe injury? Not familiar with UK legal structure, but in the US that is what this would be. Not medical error, criminal assault.
