We’d get a George cross too, but there’s only one, so we’d have to share it.

Hey, that’s me!!
…fuck.
Canada is sort of medium on both trans rights and healthcare. But the good news is that if you come here from the UK I think you officially rule over us and we have to do what you say?
I should probably turn that kind offer down on the grounds that I would not be responsible with any form of real power.
I don’t know. Lady Saskatoon has a ring to it.
My pronouns are she/her/Mistress of the Universe but that last one probably shouldn’t be encouraged.
I can do it for you, I am descended from the Stuarts so I can claim legitimacy that way.
The anarchist queen of Canada. The atheist defender of the faith. Let’s go with that for now and pretend that anarcho-monarchism isn’t an oxymoron.
No worries, you seem far more sensible than me anyway, let’s go!
Somehow, I could see you making that work, @anon73430903 !
Is asking da Baby not to be homophobic really “punching down” Dave?
Daily Beast wants me to subscribe or they won’t let me read them so that’s three things I’ll skip.
Yeah, it’s basically his same tired excuses for punching down, while he claims that the LGBQT+ community is punching down at Black men. He did say he’s done with LGBQT+ jokes after this, so…
Both he and Louis CK turned out to be a huge disappointment. Michael Che is doing that too.
Eric Deggans hands Chappell his ass in his review…
“I’m done talking about it,” he says toward the end of The Closer . “All I ask of your community, with all humility: Will you please stop punching down on my people?”
That line, with all of its terrible assumptions about who “your community” is and who “my people” are, just made me terribly angry and disappointed. Because untangling homophobia, transphobia, racism and white privilege requires a lot more effort and understanding than Chappelle makes here.
I was just talking about that fucker over on the Root:
