I was more of a fan of Barbara Eden’s performance in Harper Valley PTA, probably because the idea of an independent, strong, single mom in a small town telling off a bunch of hypocritical bullies in a position of power who tried to embarrass her (and her daughter) really appealed to me.
There was a “Nick at Nite” screen saver based on that premise, in 1996 or so. It was on a floppy disc and took forever to run on the 386 PC I still had at home.
