We will probably never know what actually happened, but perhaps another sign of the need for more access to mental health resources? A last minute burst of reality? Whatever it was, I have to say he died a hero, although it will not be painted that way. He took out a mass murderer and averted a tragedy. At the cost of his own life. But it should not have come to that.
