While I agree he is in the right in his opinions, he is absolutely wrong, IMO, in his actions.

I would never put up with that shit from an employer of mine. And indeed, have walked away quite happily from more than one abusive arsehole boss.
One manager even had the gall to tell me to “count myself lucky I had a job”, in a country with 95% employment.
I get that his film is giving a few hundred (few thousand?) people some work for a few months, even though they are filming part of it in Venice, Italy, one of the hardest-hit and therefore more infection-prone parts of Europe, but how about give your staff a paid holiday until the real danger is over, rather than risk them contracting Covid?
Does he actually believe that his film will save the entire film industry?
He’s supposed to be saving the world?
Has he fallen for his own bullshit?
