I don’t know why, but for some reason I had him filed away in my brain as Topol Kiev (aka Topol). not Chaim Topol.

R.I.P. Topol. I loved both of those movies and saw them on the big screen in a movie theatre. In the case of “Fiddler on the Roof” the very huge screen.

I just spent an hour watching clips from FoTR and Topol really made that movie something special.
