Ah yes, Flash Gordon. The pinnacle and perfection of the film-makers’ art. Also, I happen to be playing in a campaign led by one of the contributors to the Savage Worlds “Flash Gordon” RPG, which rocks.
My BFF from high school, when seeing the movie, didn’t quite make out Brian Blessed’s over-the-top “First wave, dive!!!” during the hawk-men’s attack. He thought he was saying “First wave, die!!!” which tbh is metal as fuck.
