Trace the evolution of high heels across 100 years

Am I, after the discourse above. Which I agree with a lot. Not buying shoes for a long while now, still waiting for a decent pair to find and love. I want to be able to walk longer distances and feel nice. Not one or the other.

Oh…, lost track. Am I allowed to say I would kill for that pair of boots, one of the first shots?
Laced boots, with a slight heel, not high heels, not a zipper. sigh

(Had alike, but totally worned them out, after 10 years still not found a replacement).
