As a BBer, and someone who occasionally follows the politics sections of various American forums, it was both darkly amusing and immensely frustrating to see the opponents of this change use the exact same bullshit counter-arguments from American and UK right-wing.

She may have been the first high profile transgender child to get noticed by the British press. I remember the (extremely transphobic, and full of lies) reporting when she got confirmation surgery in her teens.
Why do trans women go by she/her?
Because if they went by her/she they’d be chocolate.

It was good to see Uncle Joe speak up for trans kids in the State of the Union.
