OK, that is a bit unfair, there are some social libertarians who ended up in the libertarian-capitalism groups because they didn’t know any better. They are now politically homeless because they don’t want to be fascist, are scared of libertarian socialism because of propaganda and can’t let go of the capitalism that is destroying them.

I remember when the goons thought that news.admin.net-abuse.email was responsible for Something Awful landing in the SPEWS spam email blocklist, and launched attacks of spam-forgery gibberish posts.

Each attempt, three posts in, and my news proxy would filter the rest out. (Because Scientology had previously done the same on alt.religion.scientology.)

troon — portmanteau of “trans” and “goon”. Originally a term for members of the Something Awful forum (“goons”) who are transgender. Used as a slur for trans women, connoting violent or sinister ulterior motives for transitioning.
