Exactly! So uh…I guess what I’m wondering is if “yes this defamatory per se, but I didn’t cause harm” when youre talking about a public statement that somebody committed a crime even something you CAN argue?

Per se means it’s not arguable. It’s unambiguous defamation. Meaning also it’s inherently harmful.
