Ugh.
Trump apologizes for boasting about groping women, says he'll be talking about Bill Clinton more now
I know, right? Somehow Hillary is a bad person for defending someone accused of child rape, but Donald Trump’s lawyer gets a free pass for the same thing?
Confessing to serial criminal behavior is a little more than saying something vulgar. How do you translate justifiable concern into “exaggerated shock” in your mind?
Have you ever done what he says he does? Is that why you don’t think it’s a big deal? If not, then WHY don’t you think the behavior he confessed to is a big deal?
I did not mean to say that particular memo is indication of any media complicity, but rather the cleverness of some of the strategy used by political operatives, likely on all sides.
And I am NOT related to any of the candidates in question. For the record!
That is, Trump’s opinion that if someone has confessed to being a sexual predator, that confession alone is enough to establish guilt and obviate the need for a trial.
After that, I am impressed that Trump’s apologists are still willing to ret-con his own confession into “something vulgar”.
I agree that efforts to go at HRC through Bill are somewhat misguided, except when they connect to her being complicit in covering up or attacking the victims, or the fact that when Bill was elected, Hillary came as part of the package, especially with her health care initiative. It would be reasonable to assume that it works the other way as well. I have to assume that electing HRC means granting Bill and Chelsea more access to to the highest levels of power and the huge piles of cash that seem to motivate them.
Likewise, Electing Trump would no doubt mean that some pretty sordid people would have the same sorts of access. Whoever wins, we lose.
Umm, yeah… Can I get that back?
Yes, how terrible that someone was elected whose spouse had a plan for helping people.
Your claims that both candidates are equally bad riings pretty hollow, especially given your downplaying of Trump’s admissions of sexual assault.
How many assumptions do you have to make before it sounds crazy to you?
Er… yes. That’s what happens when we elect a president, their immediate family often acts as close advisors and aides, the way that Michelle Obama has. It’s been that way for generations, and has resulted in people like Eleanor Roosevelt, Lady Bird Johnson, and Edith Wilson, who was the defacto acting President when Woodrow Wilson had a stroke. Is that a surprise?
Well, I reread it, and it does sound repetitive.
I’m just going to set this down right here:
Well, here it is. How low can you go? He doesn’t give a damn about those women.
Edit - Christ on a bike, he put three of the women in the audience.
More and more Trump recordings will be coming to light it seems:
I can only imagine horrible the stuff he says when he isn’t on camera…
All of them, if I had to wager a guess.
Too lazy to swim upstream and check if this has been posted, but there’s some gems in this season’s SNL (so far). Of course, the jokes are writing themselves.
The debate is just a lead-in to the main skit.
Baldwin as Trump is brilliant, and sorely needed after their early pandering for the guy.
“Ya brain broke. I love ya; but bish, you cray.”
