He’s going to reveal it when his ratings are low, or during a rally.

For no other reason than to bask in the adulation of those too stupid to know what this portends.

This pretty much nailed what is probably going on.

hey hey hey what about those of us too weak of will to do anything about it!

is that a bask or more of a shared stew ?

Another piece of the shit puzzle that this is…

“A federal judge denied Roger Stone’s request for a new trial, a court filing unsealed on Wednesday revealed.”

“Stone, a longtime associate of President Trump, had sought a new trial after being convicted in November of lying to Congress and witness tampering, based on the judge’s refusal to strike a juror.” -The Hill (I’m not linking to it because I don’t want to contribute any clicks to the questionable rag that it is.)

Eta:

"Attorney General William Barr has agreed to give testimony before the House Judiciary Committee next month amid growing questions over the administration’s alleged interference in the case of a close ally of President Trump.

Democrats on the panel released a letter Wednesday confirming Barr’s March 31 appearance, saying they are concerned the agency has become politicized under his watch.

“In the interest of transparency, we wish to be candid about one set of concerns we plan to address at the hearing. Since President Trump took office, we have repeatedly warned you and your predecessors that the misuse of our criminal justice system for political purposes is both dangerous to our democracy and unacceptable to the House Judiciary Committee,” they wrote. 1. As always, when Trump says “no one knows…” it really means “I don’t know…”
  2. If you don’t know what he did, why do you know he doesn’t deserve the sentence?

I expect said “testimony” is going to be Barr simply repeating “executive privilege” or something equivalent for however long the House Judiciary Committee is willing to sit there.

Pardon the expression but, congress and all it’s committees have proven themselves to be a bunch limp dicks.

I expect nothing but a haze of acrid smoke to billow out of this circus side show.

Donald Trump is soft on crime and doesn’t support our boys in blue.

From Ephrat Livini over on Quartz Media:

“…The notion that Trump would use his position to undermine the justice system is no longer that shocking, although the audacity does continue to astound legal experts. By characterizing all legitimate lawyering as mere political ploys, the president has managed to convince his supporters that he is the victim of a Democratic plot that only a strongman like him can stop. Thus, the new heroes of the Republican majority are dubious characters like Gallagher and Stone, who are elevated and championed despite proven wrongdoing.”

"The long-term consequence of this fantastical and melodramatic approach to American justice is erosion of the rule of law itself. As Walter Shaub, former director of the Office of Government Ethics, explained in a morning tweet, “To put DOJ’s politicization in context, remember its mission is to defend the rule of law and it’s full of lawyers whose lives are focused on law. Having toppled the institution dedicated to law, it’ll be easier to topple the ones devoted to things like energy, money and killing.”

Or to bask in the adulation of those who know exactly what this portends and are a-okay with it.

This nonsense with the Justice Department and Roger Stone’s sentencing memo being rescinded - but Attorney General Barr saying he wasn’t directed because he said it in a tweet?

That’s directly refuted by…the Justice Department.

So, here’s the question: can you get someone to Tweet under oath?

It’s a deposition then?

No, it’s Amazon that wants to depose him, not Twitter.

Disgraceful president finds justice a disgrace. What a surprise.

Far more disappointing is that the Justice Department is playing to his whims.

Hit it right on the head with that one. He didn’t stick his foot in his mouth with this lie, he used his thumbs. His presidential library is going to be something else. Everyone will be given a smartphone loaded with his tweets.
