Hello, Ambiguity. I would agree that President Obama was possibly forced to render himself non-dovish (assuming he had dovish tendencies) given the reality of GOV Congress’ well-demonstrated intransigence and forceful proclamations of non-cooperation with him from the very start of his Obama’s presidency.
Sure, but it’s not about whether or not we agree with it - that’s what it was called.
I’m pretty sure Clinton’s not running in 2020. I really hope whoever runs is a better candidate than Clinton was. Clinton’s problems really were much, much deeper than her use of the wrong email client (which is a perfectly correct framing). If I, as a random politically unconnected person on the internet describe Clinton’s email problems in a way you don’t like, and which wasn’t a typical media or popular description, you don’t need to worry. It’s really not going to have an impact on the next election.
Depends how much he gets away with slacking off on doing the job, as opposed to just basking in the power and attention, sticking his finger in the pie when he needs a hit. It looks increasingly like phoning in the job is not a deal breaker.
So Trump is using this Nuke tweet to point out that he has the power to command the end of human civilisation. Perhaps we should just hope he’s kept busy with the kleptocracy and nepotism? Let him build Trump Towers in Beijing, Moscow, Pyongyang, Tehran, Jordan, Gaza, etc. so that he’d have a financial reason that he cares about to hesitate before pressing the button?
Sounds like a viable tactic - quite a lot of Hillary clones will be needed though.
He knows all about our nuclear situation from those security briefings he refuses to attend.
Sounds like a rerun of Cheney/BushII.
I have often felt that with the Republicans that’s the plan - the real president is the VP, the other one appears on TV and works the golf course, because even the Republicans know that their ideal candidate - a dead eyed soulless sociopath who can contemplate the deaths of millions with comfort if it props up the dollar - wouldn’t be electable.
That’s the thing, it wasn’t wrong on so many levels.
This is slap on the wrist follow best practices next time IT fingerwagging shit but persons freaked out because they’d rather have Trump than feel “impure”.
It was never really about the emails, the FBI provoked the reaction they intended, to make the persons who “feel bad things” about Hillary feel justified when her campaign was otherwise providing a good counter to the insanity of Trump.
Fine. Only if I get to pick the targets. Any property that begins with “Trump”.
You came SO close to describing the way I’d like to go when the time comes.
In the election you had the choice between email woman and a total fucktard. Pretty binary. Good luck with the fucktard.
Ha ha. Fuck you, Donny.
ETA: of course, he’s whinging about it already.
Or would they?
Trump just shared a letter from Putin asking to “restore” US-Russia relations.
Apparently both leaders intend to restore those relations to the days of the nuclear arms race at the height of the cold war.
1,2,&3) We disagree, and I’ve spent too much time on this even though we could both hold a very reasonable discourse that is positive. I am taking extra time to say I don’t want to have the conversation, and not to dismiss your perfectly valid opinions on the subject.

Yes, and he bided his time until the election after hiding it extremely well. I thought he crossed a line in June, and now in my opinion it is in the world of pre-meditated actions with the warrant.
-
I agree, especially after Comey in June - but that’s about Clinton’s candidacy and not about how her email relates to the legal processes around the handling of classified information and the interests of the US government.
And my statement is reducing the result into a significant category that you must agree to first: Did Clinton break US law - not did she push the boundaries, did she break the law and avoid punishment because of who she was. Besides you that point was still in contention.
Congratulations. You are the winner for being the n’th person that somehow misread my comment as promoting jailing Clinton. Let me restate simply: The political conversation dilutes the conversation over handling classified information.
On another note: Since you run cleanup on such things, you should know that you can’t “wipe” such emails once they are out, because you don’t have control over the intermediate servers.
Thanks for putting lots of words in my mouth, and pulling the “I’m an authority” card. It’s classy.
A slightly different take on Hillary’s email server is more aligned with Occam’s Razor than any of the conspiracy theories floated by the GOP.
The fact is Hillary is technologically illiterate and really only knows how to use a certain outdated Blackberry model. She also didn’t want multiple devices for personal and government use so her staff simply looked for the most expedient way to support these requirements.
Was it wrong? Yes, technically - but also not without precedence and certainly wasn’t malicious or intentionally deceitful.
The emails are available and have been pored over, so why is this your first point?
