I hope this stands as a warning to Biff’s other faithful family retainers. They may be the only people he actually pays, but toadies shouldn’t expect any loyalty or support from him when the law eventually catches up with them.

Notwithstanding his ambitions, Trump isn’t whacking people who testify against him. If you’re one of his cronies and you could avoid time by turning on him, you would. Getting paid is just the simplest explanation for inexplicable loyalty.
