A shame about that, few people remember the way the top was removed in a freak storm and how a few years later the Statue of Liberty walked down the streets of Manhattan. No, the whole Ghostbusters episode was dismissed, alas, as a collective delusion.

If you look at the link to the High Ferris book I posted above the shape of that building is based in Manhatten planning ordinances on light and setback. I think. It’s decades since I read it.
People still talk about the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man PR stunt, but they never talk about the great wasp infestation that happened after it went wrong and exploded.
