Yeah, Bernie 2020 is not gonna happen. As it is Trump just broke Reagan’s age record for a first-term President at age 70. And Reagan was almost certainly suffering dementia by the end of his run.
Luckily there are other good politicians out there who embody Bernie’s progressive ideals. We just need to support them.

America is geographically and militarily isolated enough that the worst effects of US foreign policy are never felt at home. You might be right about the dollar tanking being good for a lot of other economies but at the same time, if Trump follows through on his promise to withdraw from US military treaties, the rest of the world is going to suffer far more than the US itself.
As a current resident of Singapore, I’m genuinely terrified about the prospect of US withdrawal from the region.
