I imagine when they left hell the devil yelled after them “There’s gonna be hell to pay”. Boris, not paying attention, asked Trump what that was about. Trump replied “Don’t know, something about a hell toupee.” and that is why they both now have horrible haircuts.

It’s crazy… our right wing here stateside has moved so far to the extreme right that occasionally britain’s Rightwing starts to seem almost rational. I mean I’m sure Boris is still a moron but I saw this today (on the guardian’s live feed). Imagine an american republican talking about amnesty. It would be political suicide for them here.

The context of that sign is getting lost on me. I get the wankers part… I don’t get the public school part.
Its the UK, so Private, paid-for, schooling. Usually old with bullshit traditions and a long record of providing MPs due to the “old boy network” of simply giving a job to someone from your own school and keeping the reins of power in “sensible” hands.
Feudalism never died, it just got rebranded.
