Correct. I’ve had multiple folks bring back Cubans from overseas for me. As long as your bringing in a box or less customs doesn’t care.

It’s just some left over Cold War propaganda. It was the claim that justified our fortification of Europe and force projection in the Pacific, Asia and South America as “Protecting Freedom™.” Which, you understand, is something completely different from building an empire. It was very useful for motivating people to sacrifice their sons and daughters for the greater good of our masters. (see “Manifest Destiny”).

I got curious…
Some Cubans are in tubes. I am sure some come in black tubes (I’ve seen black tubes before.) Though if they are cigars it is more likely a Dominican or similar vanity brand. I found a slightly larger image and the box looks like it has a version of the US seal on it. The box looks like it could be cedar, but it is an atypical design. Still they make different kinds of humidors/boxes, so something that has a lid that lifts off is possible. Still I can’t tell if it is tubed cigars or pens or something else.
I don’t think Trump smokes cigars from what I have read, but there is a long history of presidents having their own white house brand. There is a Trump branded cigar, but they don’t look like that.

I am a cigar aficionado. And all I’m saying is those aren’t cuban cigars. And I doubt they are cigars at all.
Cuban cigars do sometimes come tubed but not boxed like that and tubed. Cuban tubes are almost always white or yellow or some
Combo. But those would be singles not a full box.
Additionally no informed cigar lover would keep their humidor open for any more time than needed to take a cigar out. I know the informed part certainly leaves the door open to Trump having an open box of cigars on his desk because it is the exact stupidity he could be guilty of.
Regardless. I do not think they are cigars based on the apparent size. They would have to be cigarillo or a very small ring robusto. If trump were to have cigars to hand out on his desk. They would have to be 50+ ring Churchill’s. I can’t think of anything else he’d choose.

I don’t think they are Cuban either, and possibly not cigars. Some Cubans are tubed, I know I have some kept tubes squirreled away somewhere, though they aren’t black. (I had a Partagas tube that was black but not Cuban.)
LOL. Why would anyone assume Trump would be informed about cigars anymore than he is about anything else? Saying something isn’t something because it would be stupid to be left open just doesn’t sway my opinion when it comes to this subject 
But I agreed the box didn’t look right. I can’t really guess the size with any certainty. But even if they were cigars, and it was a humidor that maybe had a heavy lid that sat on top, it could be the top was just removed for what ever reason and not yet replaced. I mean one can’t really tell what is going on with anything from a single frame.
Curiosity got the better of me, and I clicked on the linked video. I had avoided the rabbit hole of Qanon and this particular grifter up until now.
One thing that struck me was he kept going on about Nixon and Watergate in a queerly reverential way. How he was in awe of being in the same office the plotting and scheming went on in, etc. Is cultish Nixon worship widespread in these groups, or is it just Mr Lebron’s particular fetish?

It doesn’t matter if you believe me or not. I’m telling you with 100% certainty and authority on the subject…leaving your humidor open for anything more than absolutely necessary is absolutely stupid. Regardless.
Those cigars in tubes. They need to be in a humidor. The tubes are for show and relative protection for a single stick. But they do not provide moisture for the cigars to remain smokable. If they are just in the tubes and have sat for ~6months they can be salvaged. Anything past a year and forget it. They are trash at that point.
