Trump NEGATIVE for Coronavirus and COVID-19, says White House physician

we have no basis to judge

all we can hope is that somebody somewhere would put a stop to it if frauds were exploiting loopholes

using the woo term “allopath” to refer to people the rest of us call doctors is not a good sign

I’m entirely ready to believe that yup, Trump does not have coronavirus infection.

But with all the lies and bullshit he and his administration have been spewing, I would also be 100% unsurprised if it was a massive, blatant lie and he was coming down with COVID-19 this minute.

Whatever his status re COVID-19, he’s the fucking Typhoid Mary of COVFEFE-19.

Shouldn’t he be wearing cargo shorts and flip-flops?
Which frame is bothering you, they are all crooked.
I’ll bet he feels more at home with them that way.

Probably the first test result is going to be re-confirmed by a second test 24-48 hours later … here’s hoping … (it must be positive - if it was negative they’d have announced it straight away?)

They’re talking about the test he took on Friday night, and the results were released yesterday. The question seems to be: why did it take so long?

Does anyone really believe him at this point?

Just all those icons on his desktop are enough to set me off.

Oh - it’s a win-win. He was never going to ‘lose’ whatever the result. It was either negative proving how wonderful his health is, or positive with no symptoms, proving how wonderful his health is.

Now, if I were a shitty televangelist, like Kenneth Copeland, I would be claiming that I’d cured the great man with my GAWD-GIVEN POOOOWERS!

I’ll step in here. We actually refer to ourselves as allopaths, but generally only if the comparison to osteopaths comes up. DO’s do the same internship, residency and fellowships we do, meet the same licensing requirements and pass the same exams. I have met some shit DO’s, but I have met shit MD’s also. And the very best hands-on pediatrician I ever met was a DO. So no, I don’t accept that it requires any additional proof of competance.

“Mr. President your blood test came back negative for COVID-19, and also just FYI, you are ovulating this week.”

President Trump tells lies day in and day out, on matters ranging from the trivial to the grave. And there’s a long and quite understandable history of presidential administrations lying about the president’s health – Grover Cleveland once even secretly had cancer surgery on a yacht off the East Coast. So it’s hard to say whether this press release has any information content at all (that is, in information-theory terms, whether it has nonzero entropy). But, whatever we know about President Trump’s health, it would be wrong to hope he catches the virus and dies of it. Absolutely wrong.
