Trump pitches a fit over the Lincoln Project's latest ad

I doubt anything would change the minds of the hard-core members of the Cult of Trump, but a different question that might chip away at the edges of the Cult would be “If Donald Trump is a successful businessman, like he’s said he is, why does he need your money so desperately to defend himself? Why doesn’t he use his fortune? Other rich folks, like Mark Zuckerberg or Elon Musk, don’t go begging for dollars when they sue or are sued.”

The responsible R’s have tasked the D’s w/ taking out TFG. LP’s job is to poke him with a stick in the mean time. If LP could go ahead and poke some idiot Rs to help out, that would be nice.

That would require them to highlight progressive policy accomplishments (e.g. student debt relief) and – more importantly – promising more to come if they get their majority. That should be their thrust, one which would attract young voters – but it’s not.

As long as their main approach remains “Democrats: Not as Bad as the Other Guys”, they need to take of the gloves and get creative like TLP.

The point is not to change minds but to get Republican voters who aren’t members-in-full of the death cult to stay home on election day.

I thought only I was seeing it. It should be a straight quote of @Otherbrother (as far as I know that hasn’t become a naughty word here). Can you try quoting me in your reply above, please?

Calling @orenwolf and @codinghorror.
