It’s not a surprise to everybody else that the Republican Party doesn’t care about international institutions — and hasn’t since, like, 1991 or so. Americans in general don’t care much about international institutions either. We don’t vote for them, they don’t make sense to us.
Somebody is REALLY overestimating how much Americans know about European history.
Basically, it was Iran agrees to no weapon development and inspections (which they are complying with), US and others agree to drop sanctions (which the US is not complying with).
The direct impact is small. The greater concern is what follows; the US manufactured their baseless violation of the deal for a reason.
If you read that Twitter page, you will see that there seems to be some disagreement about whether these Defense stocks are actually up in 2018. I don’t know what the truth is.
I agree. I’m sick of hearing about that idiot who finished a distant third in the WV GOP primary, after polling third for weeks. The media built him up as some sort of spoiler-I guess they needed a story. Meanwhile, other information about the primaries was hard to find.
Of course you and others here know something about (western/northern) international history. And can ask Jimbo about it, if they don’t.
As Sam would probably say: someone is trying to play silly buggers. If its not you, than its the sitting president. And if this is working then the world deserves to end.
