I’m pretty sure he doesn’t think that way at all.
Most folks understand that there’s this thing called “truth” out there, and when you stop believing it, it doesn’t go away. I don’t believe that’s how he thinks at all. I think he thinks solely in terms of what needs to be said to make more money right now. I don’t believe he gives any weight at all to this “truth” thing that other people talk about.
Pre-2016 election, John Oliver nailed it, as I mentioned here…

Isn’t there? Maybe it’s not brand new but I don’t see this as an old problem, per se.
And it’s not journalism - it’s information hoarding/investing - let’s not give the people that do this the respect they don’t deserve.
Memories are funny things.
I certainly remember a lot of people positing that he might feel that way - I don’t remember anyone reporting that he actually said that, with a quote.

It’s not really clear when Haberman learned this, or when she was able to confirm the details. Guess I’ll have to buy the book and read the footnotes…
It would’ve been so awesome if Dump got arrested for trespassing immediately after Biden was sworn in.
Here’s hoping he says the same thing - despondently- from inside prison.
