Michael Flynn has to be convicted first. Pretty likely tough since Barr’s attempt at fixing the trial and a dismissal got killed and a Contempt of Court charge is likely.
He completely misses the point of doing things like this anyway, if the point was to do something that kept our eyes off the DNC. Instead he drops a big let-down, the crowd groans, and goes off to watch more DNC.
As for his evangelicals, they are probably unimpressed by pardoning a woman who didn’t know her place…

Oh, I just figure that whenever Trump specifically says, “not this”, he means “absolutely this.” If Trump said it’s definitely not raining, I’d bring an umbrella. He says he won’t pardon Michael Flynn? He’ll pardon Michael Flynn. An “Always Sunny in Philadelphia” title-card kind of thing.

Bernice’s twitter account is why I think she’s the real inheritor of her father’s (and mother’s) work. She doesn’t try to mainstream him, she knows it’s not just that he spoke against racism, but how he did it.Nonviolence is active, it’s about refusing rather than passively carrying signs that say “Down with racism”.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that’s basically what Ford did: issued a blanket pardon for anything related to the Watergate scandal. There’s no reason Trump can’t pull a similar shenanigan. Not that I want to give him any ideas or anything.

FWIW, that costar is Brigitte Bardot’s kid sister. Movie looks terrible (despite a fine cast), I’m surprised I’ve never seen it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump keeps a videocassette of it on his night table right under his dogeared copy of Mein Kampf.

I’ve seen similarly-named movies on TCM, which is why I’m surprised not to have seen this one. Usually they’re worth watching at least for the music, though in this case, well, I’m not a big Conway Twitty fan.
