Trump Spokesmonster Scottie Nell Hughes: 'There's No Such Thing as Facts'

I listened live. It was painful listening to Scottie Nell Hughes - my jaw kept hitting the floor. And she sounded SO angry! Why the anger? Your side WON! Sore winners. Go figure!!

Which means that “hall-full” is the pessimist view (that’s all there is) and half-empty the optimist view (you’ve already enjoyed half a glass).

And thus we get to the true magic of their position - they don’t give a flying fuck if science works or not. They’ve already got everything they need - money and power, and all the trappings that come with them - so their only use for this so-called “science” is if it can get them what they want , i.e. more money and more power.

It’s clear that this person, along with others, are fine with lying. So, why put them on a ‘news’ program to begin with? I’m getting tired of the media lapping at the feet of idiocy.

Emboldened to hate. There is no rest or comfort when your ideology is centered around fear, not love.

The media knows their own. “You decide, America!”

Hopefully, at least some of the time it’s due to the concept of sunlight being the best disinfectant.

I mean, she’s kind of right. Consider the evidence: Trump is absolutely broke, and is only going to accept a dollar per year so he doesn’t have to file taxes, which he’s never done, but which would show that he’s on the Russian government payroll. He only won the election because North Korea hacked Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin; they said as much on Fox Business News, but it was buried by the Hamilton thing with Pence.

Anyway, Trump is closet Democrat – he was a registered Dem for most of his life, said he would run as Republican because they’re so dumb they’ll believe any lie you tell, and I mean, think about it – he’s obviously setting us up for European-style socialism. 90% of his business is in Europe, he only marries European immigrants, and his main residence is in France.

Prove me wrong on any of that, because you can’t, because that’s just your opinion and I KNOW that everything I wrote is true, because I heard it on the news and read it on the Internet.

It goes both ways everyone, and you don’t bring a truth-knife to a disinformation gun-fight.

Edit: spelling error. Or was it?

That’s just, like, your opinion, man

We can’t define anything precisely. If we attempt to, we get into that paralysis of thought that comes to philosophers… one saying to the other: “you don’t know what you are talking about!”. The second one says: “what do you mean by talking? What do you mean by you? What do you mean by know?”

Aint nothing but a party, baby!

You want to know the really sick and twisted part?

Scottie Nell Hughes is mostly right.

Politics has way less to do with what is true and way more to do with what people percieve as the truth. Don’t like it? Too bad. You have to fight for the truth, because its merits are not sufficient to win the day.

The one where he declaims: “I know noooothing” ?

Facts? Lies? Opinions? I know noooothing!

Or - we could replace politics, economics, and commerce with an automated system and finally be productive for maybe the first time ever.

That’s true. When people say “politics is the art of the possible”, politics are being defined in a way that leaves facts entirely out, and even tacitly says they aren’t relevant.

Which is one reason I hate that phrase. Besides leaving out facts, it leaves out ideology, principles, honesty, anything else good that might be handy in running States.
