I didn’t know it was inside an auditorium, which is even worse. Some rally in the middle of a field I could understand a temporary lighting setup using whatever comes out of the crate from the tour & events staging company - but a proper facility with (likely) lighting gangways… they tend not to hang or unhang fixtures, they use what is always up there. In this case, the faulty HMI fixture(s) are still up there at this moment and can easily be checked.

Sadly is also means other productions on that stage may have subjected people to the same dangerous conditions. This might not be a one-off incident.

Maybe the eye issue is from being part of a group in the splash zone from when Trump takes progressive ideas like that and pisses all over them?
