Why would Black people vote for Trump just because there are some pictures of “him sitting” with “Black people”?
And if it does fool anyone, wouldn’t his usual supporters be majorly ticked off by Trump being all chummy with the “Black people”?

on the second part, not really. the vast majority of black evangelicals are democrats. it’s almost a perfect mirror image of white evangelicals ( bottom left image )

There are about a dozen oddities, if you know where to look. None of the designs on the hats or shirts make sense, five of the hands have issues, a whole bunch of eyes in the top image are off, the woman in the red hat has a disconnected necklace and and it’s confused about whether she has a left earring, the person a the top left of the top picture has the classic “couldn’t decide whether to make teeth or reflection on lips” error, and the mouth next to it is even worse.
THAT SAID, they will fool plenty of people who aren’t looking out for errors.
I actually wonder whether it’s aimed at Black voters, or at white voters who are “concerned” about him, but figure that if he’s surrounded by a bunch of Black folk then all those stories that he’s racist can’t be true.
I saw the same thing in the 2016 election, where conservatives insisted that he was pro LGBT folk, even though those same conservatives were NOT pro LGBT, knew Trump wasn’t, and knew that actual queer people wouldn’t vote for him over a dead rat. I think, similarly, they were trying to appease some other conservatives who were probably going to pull the lever anyway but wanted to feel good about doing so.
