Yes, he’s a borderline organized criminal, racist, sexist, narcissistic thieving amoral lying sack of shit, but I still think he’s preferable to Cruz or Rubio. And as a bonus, he’d destroy the Republican Party (although I did see a suggestion that if he were the nominee, the GOP might throw all their money into the down ticket races and write the Presidency off)

Strychnine, arsenic and cyanide are all poisons, dangerous to all people, not just GOP. Those candidates are symptoms of ongoing GOP destruction. No need to elect one of them.

I can’t follow this line of thinking, because it strikes me as trying to discern whether goose shit tastes better than turtle turds or donkey dung. All horrible, in their own special ways.
While Cruz and Rubio would be worse on women’s rights, Trump would pack the federal employment rolls with so many corrupt cronies it would make GW Bush’s infusion of Liberty University grads look quaint. And, I’ve lost track of how many international incidents the loudmouth has already caused, pissing off Mexico, the UK, Dubai, and The Pope, and getting endorsed by Putin. He’s a threat to the American Brand of the Shining City on the Hill.
