Trump threatens independent presidential run if Republicans are mean to him

Actually, you must do a better job of thinking. You should be embarrassed to say the things you just did, believing them to be true.

Actually, on American soil, it’s not the case:

http://thinkprogress.org/security/2011/03/09/149537/king-muslims-plots-terrorists/

The biggest victims of Jihadists are indeed other Muslims in Muslims majority countries, actually. And the biggest victims of American drones are generally non-combatants.

They don’t use ā€œMuslim terrorismā€, because of PR and because it’s inaccurate. They are simultaneous attempting to reach out to the populations of the countries which produced organizations like AL-Qaeda and ISIS, while bombing them back to the stone age. By using terms like ā€œMuslim terrorismā€ it creates a sense of alienation from the vast majority of Muslims who are indeed NOT terrorists or even remotely sympathetic to the aims of the groups. By not assigning the designation of ā€œterroristā€ to over a billion people, and by acknowledging that things other than religious extremism animates the actions of jihadists, it helps to drum up support for our policies overseas. Or so they say… I’m not sure it’s working out as they planned.

[ETA] thanks for clarifying your point.

I know, right? THOSE MUSLIM TERRORISTS!! Oh boy. You’d think that shooting up those…people (gotta stay ā€œPā€ ā€œCā€! wink wink nudge nudge) in Charleston, or Newtown, or that theater in Colorado, or that other theater in Louisiana–we should just kick them outta here, yeah?! I mean, we oughta roll tanks over there in M[iddle nowher]E and show them a thing or two about common American DECENCY!

Thanks for coming back to clarify.

The administration does not generally use this term when the evidence says it is probably accurate.
[/quote]I’d actually say they’re not saying anything other than an alleged shooter at this time because there’s not point in muddying the waters for a grand jury by having the President say something like this. The defense could claim there’s no place in America they would get a fair trial as a result and the appeals would literally go on forever.

There’s this whole legal system that binds people in authority from throwing bias onto cases. Let’s say you get falsely accused of child porn on your computer. The police need to check out your work PC, so they stop off and search it with a warrant. They are not legally allowed to tell your boss they are looking for child porn. Should your case be dismissed they do not want your boss to see you as a pervert. It’s not fair to you should the accusation not be true.

Someone can shout ā€œI’m a Muslim terroristā€ before shooting up a place and there’s nobody in the justice system that would bring that up until the day of trial. Why knock a hole in the case for the prosecution before it even starts?

The left wing of the democratic party proposes increased (progressive) income and capital gains taxes. Secretary Clinton is campaigning on a platform to respond to economic inequality.

Hillary Rodham Clinton made a case on Friday for weaning Wall Street from an addiction to profits, calling for a change to capital gains taxes for the highest earners and a string of measures to adjust the balance of power between corporate titans and their employees.

Or a way of indicating a few more tissues are needed, fast.

DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT!

Damnit I want to have him do a press conference.

To the members of the Republican National Committee. You’re Fired.
