When introduced, it was a fairly transparent attempt to maintain the utility of the traditional defence in these cases. That is, “but he was a faggot! Any real man would have done the same!”.
The pseudo-psychology allowed the lawyers to make a nudge-wink appeal to the bigotry of the jury while maintaining a veneer of legality.

A quibble - I’m actually against term limits for the Presidency. Republicans put term limits in after FDR did such a good job as president that he was elected 4 times.
Since then both Clinton and Obama could have continued to at least a 3rd term and done fine work - and Reagan would have failed re-election to a third term, due to Iran/Contra and other problems that have since gone under the rug.
Willem Dafoe’s movie, The Hunter, really delivers gorgeous cinematography of Tasmania. Its a great movie too.

To tack on to the ICE raids (and I agree imigration is going to be locked down hard if they get their wish) I’m guessing it’s more agitation directed at Iran/ME. Which, when you get down to brass tacks, is nothing more than Bannon/Miller pulling hair and poking one’s abdomen while saying, “Does that bother you? Does that bother you? I’ll stop if you stop. Does that bother you? Why are you getting upset? etc etc”. The eventual goal is to restrict immigration from anywhere non-white, non-xtian, with a side goal of inciting a ME country into something-construed-as-violence towards the US.

Two remaining open items on 45’s 100 Day List in regards to immigration:

Establish a two-year mandatory minimum federal prison sentence for illegally re-entering the US after a previous deportation (5 years in case of a felony conviction, 2+ misdemeanor convictions, or 2+ prior deportations).

Reform visa rules to increase penalties for overstaying and to ensure jobs are offered to American workers first.

then when you go to supreme court they will vote on party lines , and he will win it
he will mostly get he DOJ to Bust the AG of Washington state
and then he will correct the mistake , he said there was illegal votes , i mean Muslims voting ? that is clearly illegal for him , its not a coincidence that he keep saying 3 million , which is the 2016 estimate of Muslims in USA

If you’re right that’s basically the exact mirror image of Osama bin Laden’s ideas. Prevent all white, Christian presence in Saudi Arabia and incite the US into violence towards a Middle Eastern country.
I hope that the Gulf States have good radar and rapid fighter deployment, just in case Bannon has the same idea (like bin Laden and the Duke of Plaza-Toro, he’ll be leading his regiment from behind because it’s less exciting.)
