That is my favorite ‘This is America’ moment. Not because I like the KKK, but because a Jewish lawyer said ‘you deserve to have the same rights and say as anyone else in this country.’ After all the best way to show someone is a moron is to give them a microphone and fifteen minutes.

I’ve a feeling it’s the same impulses that drive the Nazi skins that drive the Blocs. Only they got into different politics. They both like to dress up in scary costumes and play smashy. ‘Edgy’ violence is their main kick.

One of the hallmarks of disciplined and well-organised mass protests and marches is that they make it clear that everyone is not welcome. On top of the unwelcome list are anarkiddies trying to engage in Black Bloc tactics.
