Or what?
I can see the clergy who were gassed at St. John’s are going to be doing wall-to-wall interviews with that memo on the other side of the screen.

Pat Robertson:
“That one cop should be charged with first-degree not third-degree, but first-degree murder. People involved were standing on the sidelines are accessories to murder they should be charged. They should be prosecuted and brought to the full extent of the law.”
He also just said that what trump is doing “isn’t cool”. So, there’s that.
Why is he still alive?
Once Trump has touched something, there is no way to ever make it clean enough for humans.
Broken clock moment.
God’s will.
God is a dick
Mad scientist, sitting back and watching his experiment go completely off the rails…
No one in any kingdom of the afterlife wants the fucker around?
Well, I’m afraid I’m not much of a unix text editor or active on the old skool usenet, that would be my better half… So thanks for explaining to dumb ole me!
Yet another disingenuous asshole who helped get us where we are today, so he can go fuck right off.
But maybe it’s another data point that shows the tide might be turning against the president. If he loses the dominionist, racist, evangelical white right, he’s lost the white house.
Because there actually is no god…
Indeed. And the conservative/whackadoodle right thought Obama was the antichrist…
I’d love to see some evangelicals arguing that mr. tiny orange mushroom actually is meeting some of the criteria surrounding the antichrist/beast of revelations.
“Dumb” has nothing to do with it. Just skills and experience that you haven’t acquired and probably would have no use for.
Stay safe.
I watched that a few minutes ago.
Wow.
The text overlay when he’s laying out the timeline, about who gave the order
Impeachment for Bill Barr and federal charges for Civil Rights violations for every one who participated. Following orders is no excuse. You have a duty to dis-obey illegal orders.
The US Attorney General is not under any obligation to “follow orders” of the president. He is obligated to run the DOJ in an independent manner.
True, except when DJT is POTUS. Every minion must submit or be excoriated.
Agreed, absolutely, and I sure wish Bill Barr wasn’t such a fucking lap dog.
But I was talking about the police / military / whoever they were that fired teargas and flashbangs into a peaceful protest before charging in with riot shields and batons.
Those orders should have been refused.
I don’t know how many of them were bound by the UCMJ, but it’s specifically covered that obeying an unlawful order is no defense.
If they were not bound by the UCMJ, they faced much lesser penalties for disobedience. They should have refused. Complaining “I would have been fired if I had not violated those people’s civil rights.” is the weakest of weak sauce.
Full disclosure: I served in the USAR as both officer and enlisted. I was never deployed, and I was only intermittently placed on active duty for various schools and training.
Prison guards.
They were prison guards.
More specifically, at least some of them were riot teams from the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
People who have special training, indoctrination, and aptitude for breaking up prison riots. It’s no wonder they didn’t hesitate to carry out their orders.
That was the weapon that was knowingly and deliberately pointed at peaceful protesters in Lafayette Square so that ⊥rump could have a two-minute, creepy-as-fuck, staged photo-op.
Fucking prison guards, sicced on citizens responsibly exercising their rights as enumerated in the first amendment to the US Constitution.
This isn’t a slide toward dictatorship, we’ve arrived.
Very.
But be practical. We can only work with what we’ve got.
