To a point. His campaign, and his sense of self, was driven by what he knows, i.e. making this all a show, thinking in terms of ratings … which frighteningly is what got him elected and works surprisingly well. He ran to win, without having the foresight to know or understand what the actual job entails. Which is really frightening. Now that he’s in office he’s just bumbling around, not knowing what he’s doing, and just gutting infrastructure from the inside. What motivates him now is money.
